New date and a new position in the calendar for Jumping Verona. The much anticipated appointment in Verona this year is scheduled 26-29 October - two weeks earlier than the traditional date in November.
Thanks to the new dates, which were analysed studied in terms of ideal positioning within the world calendar of major appointments, the only Italian stage of Longines FEI Show Jumping World Cup™ benefits from even more prestige by encouraging participation by the most important riders and horses on the international panorama.
Jumping Verona consequently becomes the third of the 13 stages that make up the West European League of the World Cup 2017-2018, the most prestigious indoor show jumping circuit that this year celebrates 40 editions.
Founded in 1979 with 16 legs arranged in just two groups, this year the Longines FEI Show Jumping World Cup™ welcomes a calendar with 111 qualifying heats organised in 16 leagues taking in all continents through to the final scheduled in Paris in mid-April.
